Regular activities

We have a guest speaker most months on a variety of subjects. We also have competitions and social time - but most of all we have fun! We meet at 7.30pm on the first Monday of the month at the Nelson Club. Come along and see what we are about.

Regular activities

We run a weekly craft group, and a monthly Ladies That Lunch. We have a darts league with neighbouring WIs. We have theatre trips and through the county WI we have access to all sorts of things - from Nordic walking to stand-up paddle boarding; from watercolour painting to whitework embroidery; and from Italian cookery to flower arranging.

The WI has over a hundred years of history in campaigning - from plastic pollution to more midwives; from cervical cancer screening to care not custody; and we are a founder member of the Climate Coalition.
